Robert Pattinson paid tribute to his Bel Ami co-star Uma Thurman as he presented her with an award at the 19th Women In Hollywood ceremony on Monday (15Oct12).
The Twilight star appeared nervous onstage at the glitzy annual event, which is held to honour female stars for their contribution to the movie industry, and admitted he was "terrified".
Pattinson joked about his on-screen wife, "(Working with Uma was) a pretty crazy experience. Her role was someone more intelligent, more charming, wittier and better in bed than me. Which was obviously very difficult to cast."
Other stars honoured at the ceremony at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills, California included Cate Blanchett, Elle Fanning, Kristen Wiig, Octavia Spencer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Shirley MacLaine and Susan Sarandon.
Award winner and Harry Potter star Emma Watson later took to Twitter.com to praise the event, writing, "Elle Women in Hollywood awards was so warm and inspiring tonight. It made me want to start being the woman I want to be... NOW. Right now."
