Embattled rapper Rick Ross has been denied bail after he was arrested on kidnapping charges in Georgia on Wednesday (24Jun15).
The Hustlin' hitmaker was taken into custody in Fayette County and faces charges of kidnap, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
Ross was detained along with associate Nadrian L. James at a property he owns in the area following an alleged row with local workers on 7 June (15).
According to the arrest warrant, obtained by Billboard.com, Ross allegedly assaulted Jonathan Zamudio with a handgun and forced him to stay in his guest house.
The warrant reads, "Subject did assault the victim, Jonathan Zamudio, (twice), with a handgun... and in doing so caused two chipped teeth, jaw injury, neck injury, and multiple scratches and contusions. The victim lost the use of his jaw and is restricted to soft foods and liquid diet only as result of not being able to chew food.
"(Subject used) a handgun and physical touching to force, against his will, Jonathan Zamudio into the residence (guest house)... where he was taken down a hallway, into a bedroom, and forced to remain."
The rapper, real name William Roberts, was previously arrested earlier this month (Jun15) on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
