Prince Harry met his girlfriend Meghan Markle's father shortly after they began dating, according to her half-brother Thomas, Jr.
The British royal met the Suits actress in May (16) when he was in Toronto, Canada promoting the 2017 Invictus Games and he confirmed their relationship in November (16).
According to Meghan's half-brother Thomas, Jr., she had already introduced the Prince to her father Thomas, Sr. by the time they went public, telling the Dailymail.com Harry met him in mid-2016 and their dad is "proud" of the relationship.
"He first met Prince Harry about six months ago out in Toronto," he said. "He goes once every couple of months – (Meghan and Thomas, Sr.) are very close and they stay in close contact.
"He's pretty happy about Harry and he's extremely proud of her. They have an amazing relationship, they're very close and they always have been."
Thomas, Jr. adds Meghan is "very much in love" and their relationship is "taking off" and he hopes he can soon meet Harry and shake his hand.
It is thought the actress has also met members of the royal family, including Harry's father Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Harry's brother Prince William and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. It is not known if Harry has met Meghan's mother Doria yet.
