Paula Patton's representative has dismissed reports suggesting the actress is dating Queen Latifah.
The Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol beauty has been single since splitting from ex-husband Robin Thicke in early 2014, after almost nine years of marriage, and she recently revealed she is ready to find love again.
Paula and Latifah posed together at the Hollywood premiere of their new film A Perfect Match on Monday (07Mar16), and a report subsequently emerged on MediaTakeOut.com claiming the stars were a "new lesbian power couple".
The rumors sent fans into overdrive online, but Paula's spokesperson has since shot down the claims and taken aim at the gossip website in a statement released to GossipCop.com.
"MediaTakeOut is as reliable as a dead battery," the rep snipes. "It's not true. They are friends who produced a movie together and have been doing press appearances to support it."
Paula stars in the romantic comedy, which Latifah co-produced.
Meanwhile, rapper, actress and filmmaker Latifah is eager to expand her resume and step behind the camera to make her directorial debut.
"I would love (to direct)," the Chicago star tells Eonline.com. "I respect directors just like I respect Broadway every time people ask me about that. It has to be something that I'm so in love with, that I'm willing to sacrifice that much of my life and get real good at it real quick so I can do it again and again and again and again."
And that's not the only new development in Latifah's life - she is also keen to become a mother.
"I'm little bit of a procrastinator," the 45-year-old recently admitted. "I had some things to deal with. I had to get a lot of partying out of my system early in life for about 40 years. You know what I'm saying. I'm good now. I think I'm ready."
It is not known if Latifah, who has kept her sexuality private for years, is currently in a relationship or if she is open to welcoming a child as a single parent.
