Paul Walker's teenage daughter Meadow has returned to social media after a year-long break.
The 18-year-old offspring of late The Fast and the Furious actor Paul posted a simple selfie on Instagram on Wednesday (05Jul17) to mark her return following nearly 12 months away from social media.
In the snap, Meadow is pictured in a white camisole tank top and looking a little more grown up wearing a hint of make-up. The picture comes after her last post on 20 July (16), which harked back to happier times as it showed her and her late father swimming in the pool.
She shared the snap to promote an event for The Paul Walker Foundation, which she founded in honor of her dad, who tragically died in a car crash in 2013.
"Feeling so honored to combine two of my dad’s legacies into one incredible experience. Today marks your LAST chance to support The Paul Walker Foundation for a chance to go to the set of #F8, hang out with the cast, AND check out some of the most incredible cars in the world," the caption read.
Her latest snap garnered over 65,000 likes and drew praise from the actor's fans, with comments such as "SO beautiful and sweet," "Paul would be so happy to know that you're happy now" and "Please post more my goddess". Even Paul's close friend and co-star Tyrese Gibson, left a comment, writing: "Hello angel. Sending love and light".
Tyrese has remained close to Meadow since Paul's death, and the teenager recently thanked the actor and the rest of the cast of Furious 7 for making her father's final film such a special one.
"She had nothing but love. She said we checked all the boxes. She was very proud of the way we went about closing out this chapter," Tyrese said of Meadow's comments about the movie. "She was all smiles, she didn't have any complaints, and she said, 'You guys did right by my father.'"
