Nicki Minaj and her partner Meek Mill have finally moved into a Los Angeles mansion together.
The couple reportedly began looking for a mansion to buy in California in late 2015 but their plans hit a snag when Meek was found guilty of violating his probation in December (15) and sentenced to house arrest, which he completed in June (16), in his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Despite all the obstacles, Nicki and Meek, real name Robert Rihmeek Williams, have finally moved into a nine-bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills together, but have chosen to rent instead of buy, according to TMZ.com.
The property also boasts eight bathrooms, a swimming pool, sprawling gardens, gated driveway and a five-car garage and costs $30,000 a month.
According to the website, only Nicki's name is on the lease paperwork due to Meek's house arrest, which banned him from working.
The Pound the Alarm singer began dating the rapper in early 2015 following her split from her longterm boyfriend Safaree Samuels in 2014 after 12 years together. She fueled rumors she was engaged to Meek after showing off sparkling rings on social media, but she insisted they were just gifts and Meek hasn't proposed yet.
"I'm not engaged yet," she told NYLON magazine in March (16). "He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his fiancee, and I'm always trying to stop him, like, 'Nope! I ain't got that third ring yet (sic)!'"
His house arrest began in March (16) after he violated his probation by allegedly changing his court-approved travel schedule without consulting his probation officer. Meek was on probation relating to drug and gun charges from 2008 and it has been extended by a further six years as a result of the violation.
