Actress Neve Campbell has opened up about the birth of her first child, revealing she refused to name the tot until she held him in her arms.
The Scream star revealed she was pregnant with her actor partner J.J. Feild's baby earlier this year (12), but stayed mom about the summer birth.
Campbell and Feild were photographed cooing over an infant while enjoying a day at the beach in August (12), prompting rumors she had become a mom and now the Scream star has confirmed she's the mother of a five month old son.
And the new mom reveals she struggled to name the boy - because she wanted him to have a unique moniker.
She tells The Talk, "I like having a unique name - it's (my mom's) maiden name, Neve - and not a lot of people have it. It's nice having something special and different and so I wanted something like that for our son... We looked through a lot of books and... we decided that we'd wait and see and meet him and then decide."
The pair came up with five options, but after coming face-to-face with the newborn, they made a decision on the spot: "When he was born we realized we could only remember one and that was Caspian, so it seemed like it was right."
