Mumford & Sons joined the Pixies, Debbie Harry, and Michael Stipe to honor David Bowie in New York on Friday night (01Apr16).
The Brits were among the musicians who took the stage at Radio City Music Hall for the second night of two Bowie tribute concerts, which was live-streamed on the internet.
Harry, former REM frontman Stipe, the Pixies and The Flaming Lips returned to the stage after performing at Carnegie Hall on Thursday night (31Mar16).
Mumford & Sons admitted they were "extremely honored" to be part of the Bowie celebration, before attempting a cover of Ain't Easy from Bowie's The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars album.
Other highlights included Blondie's rendition of Heroes and Stipe's Ashes To Ashes, while The Flaming Lips performed Life On Mars.
