Mariah Carey is rumoured to be planning to marry in Tahiti.
The vocal superstar is engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer, who popped the question with a 35-carat engagement ring in January (16) after less than a year of dating.
It seems wedding plans are now in full swing, with the happy couple said to be considering exchanging vows on the Polynesian island. According to New York Post, the nuptials are also likely to involve James' iconic super yacht as he has sailed around Tahiti in the 287-foot monster boat before.
Mariah's representative didn't confirm the report, simply saying any wedding details are "definitely all rumours" at this stage.
However, the singer has made it clear she is already thinking about her big day.
"(It's going to be) very private (and there won't be) tons of people," she told Access Hollywood this week (ends26Feb16). "I'm most excited about the grandeur, darling. It's not gonna be a big wedding. But it's going to be grand.
"I think the most important thing is the relationship and, you know, just the connection. The love it of all. That's the most important thing, but of course I love a grand moment."
Mariah's ring is said to be worth over $7 million and features a large square-cut diamond. It seems the Fantasy star is just as in awe of her new bling as her fans, as she's admitted feeling nervous about wearing it in public.
“Walking through a crowd wearing a ring on your finger and a lot of bracelets is a little daunting, but it’s hard to take it off because I love it so much,” she laughed to Access Hollywood.
The mother-of-two added the engagement was a complete surprise, and she had no hand in picking out the sparkler - but thinks it's perfect.
