Madonna has postponed the start of her forthcoming Rebel Heart world tour due to delays in the show's production.
The Like A Virgin hitmaker has rescheduled the first five dates - a show in Atlanta, Georgia, and two each in Miami, Florida and San Juan, Puerto Rico - pushing them to the end of the schedule in January (15).
Madonna revealed that preparation for the show is taking longer than expected so the tour's launch has moved from August to September (15), but she assured fans it will be a spectacular concert.
In a statement, Madonna writes, "As my fans already know, the show has to be perfect. Assembling all the elements will require more time than we realized. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause my fans. I can promise you this show will be worth the wait. Can't wait to share it with all my Rebel Hearts out there."
The tour will now kick off in Montreal, Canada in September (15) and wrap up with the rearranged San Juan concert in January (15).
