Demi Lovato, the Backstreet Boys, and Jason Derulo have signed on to perform with aspiring artists as part of a new competition show hosted by rapper/actor Ludacris.
Every episode of Best.Cover.Ever. will feature a different superstar who will challenge wannabe singers to belt out renditions of one of their hits in a bid to land the opportunity to sing with the musicians themselves.
The show, co-produced by media personality Ryan Seacrest, will premiere on YouTube.com later this year (17).
Talented fans eager to show off their vocals for the first round of special guests have until 19 May (17) to submit their entries via the video-sharing website.
Demi will be looking for the best cover of her hit Confident, while the Backstreet Boys have selected As Long As You Love Me as their entry song, and Derulo has chosen Trumpets.
It's the latest hosting gig for Ludacris - the Furious 7 star is also helping MTV bosses revive hit reality show Fear Factor for a whole new generation of fans, and he has just signed on to join the stars paying tribute to their moms in an upcoming VH1 Mother's Day special.
The Fate of the Furious star will honor his mother, Roberta Shields, who also runs his Ludacris Foundation, as part of Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms.
Ludacris joins previously announced stars DJ Khaled, Robin Thicke, and Kelly Rowland, plus hosts La La Anthony and Anthony Anderson, for the Mother's Day celebration, which will air on 8 May (17).
