Little Big Town celebrated their big night at the 2016 CMA Awards by partying with Taylor Swift.
The Love Story singer wrote the band's new single Better Man and invited the quartet over to her pad in Nashville, Tennessee after they picked up the award for Vocal Group of the Year.
Little Big Town, who also debuted Better Man onstage at the awards ceremony, were thrilled to hang out with Taylor.
Bandmate Phillip Sweet tells Taste of Country Nights, "We got to enjoy that last night. It was just a bunch of just friends hanging out, it was real informal... She (Swift) was so sweet. We had a fun night celebrating."
Swift made a surprise appearance at the 50th annual CMA Awards to present the coveted Entertainer of the Year Award to Garth Brooks, and she was also celebrating after learning Better Man had hit the top of the iTunes chart.
"She said it was a song that she loved so much and could hear our harmonies on the chorus," LBT star Jimi Westbrook adds. "We listened to it and loved it. It's a beautiful song."
Westbrook and Sweet first met Swift years ago when she was just a high school student with big dreams: "We just watched her and thought, 'Man, she’s so poised at her age and so focused and knows who she is'," Sweet recalls. "Now she's the biggest star in the world."
