Lindsay Lohan has taken up a healthy new hobby since her stint in a rehabilitation clinic - she's become a keen cyclist.

The Mean Girls star was snapped out and about in her native New York on Tuesday (08Oct13) riding a bike through the city streets with her mother Dina.

The pair had taken advantage of the Big Apple's cycle-sharing Citi Bike scheme to pedal around Manhattan, and while Dina put safety first by donning a helmet, her fashion forward daughter made sure she kept ahead in the style stakes by sporting a woolly hat and shades.

Lohan completed a 90-day court-ordered stint at a rehab centre in Malibu, California in August (13).
