British singer Leona Lewis is tackling a charity walk in Essex, south-east England later this month (Oct12) to raise funds for a U.K. animal sanctuary.
The Bleeding Love hitmaker, who is a vegan, is a longtime support of the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, and she is donning her sports shoes for an event on 21 October (12).
Lewis has set up an online fundraising page, and writes on her Twitter.com page, "Thank you everyone for sponsoring me so far!! I'm raising money for Hopefield Animal Sanctuary."
The singer took part in the walk last year (11) and raised $20,800 for the organization.
