Actress Lena Dunham is "thrilled" to be campaigning for presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton by taking over the politician's Instagram account.
The 2016 presidential race is in full swing and the 29-year-old Girls creator and star knows exactly who she's voting for.
Dunham is such a Clinton supporter, she decided to take over the former Secretary of State's Instagram page on Friday (08Jan16).
In the actress' initial post on Clinton's account, a photo of herself saluting the camera, Dunham wrote: "Hey y'all! I made it to New Hampshire and I'm thrilled to be taking over the HRC (Hillary Rodham Clinton) Instagram! Warning: I'm pretty focused on my outfits. #Imwithher -Lena".
Dunham's outfit was patriotic to say the least, as she wore a red, white and blue sweater dress with stripes all over the garment. The attire seemed to rev the star up as she delivered speeches with other supporters on the campaign trail.
"Campaigning with dream babe @abbywambach !" she gushed in text attached to another photograph, which featured Dunham smiling while listening to the retired soccer player and two-time Olympic gold medalist speak.
The television star seemed enthused while speaking to citizens, publishing another photo of herself conversing with voters.
"Love meeting and talking with the brilliant women of Portsmouth, NH! #ImWithHer -Lena," she wrote in the image caption.
In addition to getting involved in the 2016 presidential race, Dunham is in for a busy year, as HBO network bosses recently confirmed her hit show Girls will end after its sixth season, meaning its final run will air in 2017.
