Actress Lena Dunham has reportedly landed her dream role as a guest star on an upcoming episode of hit drama Scandal.
The Girls star/creator has been tapped for a cameo on the Kerry Washington-led political series for an episode airing in March (15), according to Variety.
While details about her role are under wraps, Dunham has previously expressed her interest in a part on the show, no matter how small.
In an interview with website Grantland last year (14), Dunham admitted, "Basically, my life's great passion is the idea of being a guest star on Scandal. I want to be, like, a senator who did something wrong... Playing a really evil character, it would be really fun."
Dunham was able to partially live out her dream last March (14) as a host on sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, when she played a new employee at Washington's crisis management firm, Olivia Pope & Associates, during a skit.
