Game Of Thrones hunk Kit Harington is planning to disappear for a few years when his stint on the hit fantasy show ends.
The British actor, whose character Jon Snow has already been brought back from the dead, has no plans to capitalize on his fame when his time on the TV series ends.
In fact fans will be hard pushed to spot him for a while.
"I don’t really aim to get into that next big Oscar film," he tells Esquire magazine. "That’s not really my route... (I) might do a comedy next... I'll enjoy the madness quieting a bit. I'd like a few years of relative obscurity."
And the 30-year-old has no problem with his role as Jon Snow becoming the defining part of his acting career: "Thrones nicely bookended my twenties, but I'm 30 now. Maybe I can reinvent myself and get away from an image that’s so synonymous with Thrones. But maybe this was the role I was always meant to play and that was it."
Meanwhile, Game of Thrones co-creator David Benioff tells the publication Harington's stature is what makes him the perfect Jon Snow, adding, "He just had the look. The brooding intensity; the physical grace; the chip-on-the-shoulder quality that we always associate with extraordinarily short people."
Harington is only five foot six inches tall.
