Kim Kardashian has reportedly decided against making her red carpet return at a charity event in honor of her late father.
The 36-year-old reality star had been scheduled to attend the Angel Ball in New York on 21 November (16), alongside mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.
However, following the terrifying armed robbery at an apartment in Paris, France, last month (Oct16), when Kim was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint, the mother-of-two has stayed out of the spotlight, and has now reportedly decided against making her red carpet comeback at the Angel Ball.
A representative for the event told Us Weekly: "Kim is not expected to attend at this time."
A source also told the outlet that Kim's name has been taken off the list of confirmed guests attending the event, while Kris, Kourtney and Khloe are still expected to attend.
The Angel Ball, held in conjunction with Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, will pay tribute to Robert Kardashian, who died of esophageal cancer in September 2003. Other guests are expected to include Bob Geldof, Star Jones and Ivana Trump.
Kim has attended the Angel Ball on numerous occasions, including in 2011, when she told the audience at the event of her memories of her father's battle against cancer.
"Not a day goes by when I don't think about him," she said. "My dad didn't really want to tell anyone he was sick. He wouldn't even tell his parents he was sick. He didn't tell them until like a week before he passed away."
The armed robbery appears to have entirely changed the way Kim lives her life. The socialite has stayed out of the public eye since the traumatic incident, and has only been seen on a handful of occasions including attending her husband Kanye West's concerts in Los Angeles last week (ends30Oct16) and grabbing frozen yoghurt with friends.
