Kim Kardashian has been hit with a personal injury lawsuit stemming from a 2014 car accident.
Rafael Antonio Linares filed the papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday (01Mar16), alleging that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star smashed into his vehicle, subsequently causing "personal injuries which caused and will continue to cause pain, discomfort, and physical disability," according to the New York Daily News.
In the papers obtained by the site, Linares claims he was "gainfully employed" prior to the incident, but has since been "deprived of earnings" due to the alleged injuries sustained in the crash.
At the time of the accident in March 2014, TMZ.com reported Kardashian was making a left turn at an intersection in her Mercedes G Wagon when she collided with Linares' silver sedan approaching from the opposite direction.
He allegedly had his turn signal on, indicating he was turning right, but instead, he supposedly drove straight and collided with Kardashian.
TMZ.com reported that they drove separately to the nearby Beverly Hills Hotel where they exchanged information.
Linares is seeking unspecified damages in the lawsuit for medical expenses, property damage, loss of income and impaired earning capacity.
