Kim Kardashian has reportedly pulled out of a post-birthday appearance at a Las Vegas nightclub as she continues to recover from her armed robbery ordeal.
Kanye West's wife was bound, gagged, and held at gunpoint in her private apartment in Paris, France on 3 October (16) as thieves made off with jewelry and cellphones.
The reality star and mother of two was left "badly shaken" by the security breach and scrapped a planned make-up class event in Dubai shortly after the attack so she could return home to Los Angeles.
She has been keeping a low profile ever since, and is now said to have axed plans to appear at Hakkasan Las Vegas on 28 October (16), a week after her 36th birthday on 21 October (16).
"Everything on Kim's schedule has been indefinitely canceled or postponed," the insider tells Entertainment Tonight. "Kim is not ready to start talking about returning to work. At this time, she is still wanting to take time off to be at home with her kids and her family."
The news emerges a day after Kim's sister Khloe shared an update on her recovery during an interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday (11Oct16).
"She's not doing that well," Khloe Kardashian sighed. "I mean it's incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together. We do appreciate all of your guys' love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her."
Reports suggest Kim also skipped a family gathering on Tuesday night to celebrate completing filming for the upcoming season 12 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
She was absent from photobooth snaps posted online by her siblings, including Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, which were captioned, "That's a wrap! KUWTK 12."
