Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe honoured the 1.5 million lives lost in the Armenian genocide on Friday (10Apr15) by paying a visit to a memorial in the capital city of Yerevan.
The reality TV stars, along with Kim's husband Kanye West and their daughter North, arrived in the Kardashian family's ancestral homeland on Wednesday (08Apr15), ahead of the 100th anniversary of killings by Ottoman Turks, and they met with the country's Prime Minister, Hovik Abrahamyan, on Thursday (09Apr15).
They continued their tour on Friday by laying a bouquet of red tulips at the Tsitsernakaberd memorial, where they listened to a talk from Suren Manukian, the deputy director of the Genocide Institute, about the upcoming milestone.
Earlier in the day, the Kardashians were gifted a plot of land by bosses of a private property firm, and Khloe boasted about the news to her siblings Kourtney and Rob, who stayed behind in Los Angeles, on Facebook.com, where she showed off the certificates naming them as landowners.
In the caption, she writes, "Kourt and Rob we got you a souvenir!!!!!! Land in Armenia!!!"
Footage from the family's visit to Armenia will appear in an upcoming episode of reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
