Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband Lamar Odom remembers very little about his recent health crisis as he is battling memory problems.
The reality TV star's former partner was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada last year (15) after suffering a reported drug overdose, and spent months in hospital as he recovered from kidney problems and a series of strokes.
He was released from hospital earlier this month (Jan16), and is reportedly continuing with rehabilitation therapy as he attempts to get back to full health, and Khloe has now revealed he is struggling with memory loss.
"He's doing really good. His long term memory is great. His short term memory isn't so good," Khloe revealed during an appearance on TV's The Ellen DeGeneres Show via a video call. "Every day he'll ask me, 'So what happened to me?' Like today specifically, he was like, 'How many tubes did I have in me again?'... And I'm honest. But it's good that he wants to know these answers. Before he didn't want to know, he wasn't ready to know. So it's great that he's at the point that he's ready to know everything happened."
However, Khloe is convinced being out of hospital is doing him a lot of good because Lamar is enjoying spending time with his loved ones: "He loves family time. So he's been doing really good. I think it makes him feel good to be around everyone too and to just be in a happy environment over obviously where he was..."
Khloe recently admitted she feels incredibly proud of the former basketball player for making such good progress in his recovery.
"It's such a relief. It was terrifying and scary. No one knew what was going to happen," she told TV show Live! with Kelly and Michael. "What's crazy is, because he's an athlete, I really think having so many years of working out every single day - he wasn't even walking three weeks ago, and now he's walking.
"We were able to leave the hospital. He was able to walk out of the hospital and it was such a great thing.. He (was) able to walk out on his own... He's really making great strides. And that's a testament to his own will and desire to get better."
Khloe and Lamar split in 2013, and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has put their divorce proceedings on hold to allow the former sportsman to focus on his recovery.
