Actress Kerry Washington's proudest high school moment came when she landed a role in Gwyneth Paltrow's nine-girl a Cappella group.
The stars went to the same all-girls school and Scandal star Washington admits she always looked up to Paltrow when the Oscar winner-to-be was president of Triple Trio.
She says, "When I was in junior high school I really wanted to be in Triple Trio because there was this really amazing senior, named Gwyneth Paltrow, who was president, so I really wanted to be president of Triple Trio one day - and then I was co-president of Triple Trio.
"We got hired a lot on Valentine's Day to sing to people, and then we'd do the old standards... I actually hired the group to sing to my then-high school sweetheart, which he hated."
