Kendall Jenner reportedly won't walk in the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, having signed a deal with the brand's rival La Perla instead.
The 21-year-old model strutted her stuff in the 2015 and 2016 shows, stating at the time that she had fulfilled a lifelong dream by doing so. The models for this year's runway presentation are currently being confirmed, with sources close to the reality star-turned-catwalk beauty telling TMZ.com that Kendall's name won't be on that list.
According to the insider, Kendall had already agreed to become the face and body of lingerie label La Perla when auditions for the 2017 show began. The contract apparently has a non-compete clause in it, meaning that any work for Victoria's Secret would be a direct violation.
However, fans can be safe in the knowledge that there will still be a bevy of beauties on the runway in Shanghai, China, for the show this November.
Names confirmed for the show include Kendall's pals Gigi and Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Jasmine Tookes, and Stella Maxwell. Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel will be returning for the 2017 show after taking a step away from the catwalk in 2016 because of pregnancies.
Speaking ahead of the 2015 fashion show, Kendall told PopSugar: "Honestly, the show is such a dream come true. So walking in it is a really big deal for me. I'm extremely excited. I just hope I don't cry."
Following the runway presentation, Kendall's half-sister Kim Kardashian posted a gushing message of pride on Instagram.
"My angel!!!!! you started modeling because this show was your dream & I am such a proud sister just knowing you never gave up & made all of your dream a reality!" she exclaimed.
