Kelly Clarkson has returned to social media following the birth of her second child with a big tease for fans on Facebook.
The Since U Been Gone singer will be making a big statement about her next musical project on Friday (24Jun16), and she's preparing fans for the news by performing a song a day from her home - and posting video footage online.
On Monday (20Jun16) she wowed fans with her rendition of Otis Redding's These Arms of Mine and on Tuesday (21Jun16) she returned with a cover of Foreigner's I Want To Know What Live Is.
The acts who recorded the cover tracks she's posting on Facebook are all linked to her next venture.
Kelly, who canceled dates on her Piece by Piece Tour in September (15) due to vocal strain and welcomed her second child in April (16), insists the big reveal will be "the coolest announcement for me as an artist," adding, "We’re going to announce it Friday, and instead of doing, like, a boring press release, I thought it would be cool to do something kind of my style to announce something.
"I picked these four songs because these four artists that did these songs have something in common. That's my hint for the day."
On Tuesday, handwritten signs behind Kelly as she sang the Foreigner song, suggested the big announcement won't be another pregnancy, a tour, or the sequel to film flop From Justin to Kelly.
Fans have been weighing in with many suggesting Kelly's next project will be an album of classic covers.
