Katy Perry's inept Super Bowl shark dancer has inspired a charity campaign raising funds for environmental causes.
The pop star took to the stage to headline the half-time show at the big football game on Sunday (01Feb15), and performed with two dancers dressed in shark costumes.
The left shark's uncoordinated dance moves became a big talking point on social media, popularising the slogan #leftshark on Twitter and inspiring a number of Internet parodies.
A charity campaign has now been set up as a tribute to Perry's inept left shark, selling costumes and stickers to raise funds for environmental causes including the World Wildlife Fund and the Wildlife Conservation Society.
The drive on Indiegogo.com had raised more than $8,000 for charity as WENN went to press.
