Katy Perry is set to star in a Christmas advertising campaign for clothing giant H&M.
The Roar hitmaker is following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Gisele Bundchen to become the face of the brand and star in a global TV and print campaign which will launch in November (15).
She says, "H&M was one of the places where I first began cultivating my personal style... I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years. One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cosy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget. I can't wait for you to see the world we created with (director) Jonas Åkerlund and Dan Jackson."
Perry also announced the news on Instagram.com, sharing a picture of her in a winter jumper, adding, "let's take a petite (small) pause on the beauteous summer we are experiencing & open our calendars tooooo...THE HOLIDAYS I am excited to announce that I will be starring in @hm's #HappyandMerry Holiday Campaign launching later this year!!! Stay tuned for the whole unwrapping!"
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett fronted the chain's Christmas campaign last year (14).
Perry is also the face of designer brand Moschino.
