Kanye West and Kim Kardashian will marry in a low-key wedding in Los Angeles ahead of their lavish ceremony in Paris due to France's strict marital rules.
The celebrity supercouple is reportedly planning to tie the knot in the French capital next month (May14), but a new report suggests they will exchange vows in secret days before their Parisian nuptials.
French law requires foreign citizens who wish to marry to have been resident in the country for 40 days before the wedding, so West and Kardashian will tie the knot in Los Angeles prior to flying to Europe, according to Britain's The Sun.
A source tells the newspaper, "They've decided to get married behind closed doors in Los Angeles before they fly out to France."
Reports suggest the couple's big day in Paris will take place on 24 May (14).
