Kaia Gerber has landed the cover of Vogue Paris alongside her supermodel mum Cindy Crawford.
The 14-year-old signed a modelling contract with IMG Models last year (15), and she has appeared in editorials for Vogue and Teen Vogue. She also featured in a string of designer campaigns for the likes of Alexander Wang. However, she is now making her high-fashion magazine cover debut, and she is doing it with her mum.
"Such a special moment sharing a cover with my daughter - April issue of @VogueParis!" Cindy writes on Instagram.
"what is life?!!," Kaia adds. "i honestly can't breathe right now. a million thank you's to @vogueparis & (photographer) @mariotestino!!"
Kaia and Cindy graced the pages of Vogue last year (15) as part of a family piece and the teenager has also posed alongside her brother Presley.
As the teen's career is taking off, Cindy, who has been modelling since the 1980s, recently hinted she was ready to retire.
"I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore - and that's OK," she told United Airlines magazine Hemispheres. "I've done it. I've worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can't keep reinventing myself. I shouldn't have to keep proving myself. I don't want to."
However, she subsequently clarified her comments, insisting she constantly jokes with her family about retiring.
"Every year, I tell my kids I'm retiring," she wrote on Instagram. "It's a running joke in our family. And yet every year, opportunities pop up that really excite me. While it's true that I'm eager to shift my focus a bit to concentrate on my businesses, friends and family, I'm not making any final statements. I have loved being part of the fashion industry for the past 30 years and if that time has taught me anything, it's this: never say never."
