Opening statements in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray are set to begin next week (beg26Sep11) following the completion of jury selection.
Seven men and five women were sworn in as jurors in Los Angeles on Friday (23Sep11).
Dr. Murray is charged with administering the fatal dose of anesthetic which cost the King of Pop his life in June, 2009.
The physician has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His lawyers hope to prove a desperately ill Jackson administered the Propofol himself.
The trial is expected to last for five to six weeks.
