Jessica Simpson has learned to love her "really big" breasts after once considering undergoing a boob reduction.
The singer and fashion designer is known for her busty figure and she has frequently flaunted her assets in sexy outfits and photoshoots, but the blonde beauty admits she didn't always like what she saw in the mirror.
"My boobs just have their own life. They have a way of making themselves present...," she tells Women's Health magazine, revealing, "I thought I was going to get a breast reduction."
Jessica ultimately decided against downsizing her DD chest, and now the 36-year-old mother-of-two is glad she didn't go under the knife, because her husband, former footballer Eric Johnson, enjoys her curves.
She continues, "But after having kids, I look at myself and I'm like, you know what? My boobs are actually really big, but I like how they are. They're an asset, and Eric loves them still."
Her breasts aren't the only parts of her body which have changed after she became a mum, and Jessica has worked hard to regain her figure after giving birth to daughter Maxwell, four, and son Ace, three.
The star credits her post-baby slim down to regular work-outs and her healthy diet as a Weight Watchers spokesperson, but when she doesn't make it to the gym, motherhood has proved to be a form of exercise in itself.
"Before I was a mum, I was dancing on tables at clubs and that was my work-out," she smiles. "Now I'm chasing kids. Your bicep curls are picking up your kids."
"I'm hard on myself," she says of her workout regime. "I believe everything is a work in progress. But that's OK. I do love my legs, but my favourite physical attribute is my nose, because it's not perfect.
"I'm also loving my stomach - knowing I grew babies in it, and then having to go through a transformation and just owning it."
Even though Jessica has found a new sense of self-confidence as a mum, she still struggles to ignore public criticism - something she's had to deal with her whole life as she battled weight issues.
"Media scrutiny sucks," she laments. "I can't sit here and say I don't notice it. I will never understand why people take someone down for what you look like. If I had a character flaw, take me down. But a body flaw? That's not important."
Jessica has since used her personal experiences with yo-yoing weight and exercise to help design her new athletic-wear collection, The Warm Up, which she created to fit all shapes and sizes.
"I have been every size there is, so I know what looks good on a variety of body types," she explains. "Every woman should feel like she can wear what the model is wearing down the runway."
The Warm Up is the latest addition to Jessica's billion-dollar fashion business, which already boasts stylish womenswear, footwear, handbags, and accessories, while she also launched her first babywear range at retailer Babies "R" Us over the weekend (30-31Jul16).
