Jennifer Lopez constantly wonders why she created such a difficult Las Vegas show for herself.
The 46-year-old singer is currently delighting fans with her residency at The AXIS auditorium in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas. Jennifer has so far won rave reviews for the show, thanks to its incredible dance routines, stunning costumes and her vocal stylings, but she is still wondering why she gave herself so much to do when she came up with the concept.
"It's a lot of work. Why did I put together this show that's so hard for myself?" Jennifer laughed during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (17Feb16). "I was like, 'This is going to be sooooo good! We can do this, this, this and this!' And then at the end of the show I'm like… dead! And then I'm like, 'Oh my God - I have to do this again tomorrow?' This is crazy!"
Fans get to see Jennifer perform hit songs such as Love Don't Cost a Thing, Jenny From the Block and I'm Into You when they watch her take to the stage in Vegas. The mother-of-two jumped at the opportunity to create a Sin City show because it gave her the opportunity to try things she had never done before.
"It was such a treat for me to be able to put together a show for Vegas. It's really different from touring and doing other concerts and stuff - it's a much more intimate room - it's Vegas, it's like a whole… It was such a blessing."
As well as her residency and looking after her two children Max and Emme, Jennifer has been kept busy in recent months shooting her new television series Shades of Blue.
She stars as Harlee Santos, a single mother and NYPD officer who gets involved with the FBI's anti-corruption task force. Ray Liotta plays her boss Matt Wozniak and Jennifer insists the role is something of an acting comeback for the 61-year-old.
"You haven't seen him like this in years," she said. "He's brilliant in it and he's so wonderful to work with."
Jennifer was a good sport on Jimmy's show, also dressing up like a teenager and twerking for his 'Ew!' segment, and competing against Khloe Kardashian in a game.
