Jennifer Lopez shocked the audience at the 2016 Latin Grammys when she kissed her ex-husband Marc Anthony on the lips.
The Jenny from the Block singer, who was married to Marc from 2004 until their separation in 2011, performed on the Latin Grammys stage for the first time on Thursday night (17Nov16) to help honor her ex-husband, who was the recipient of the Person of the Year prize.
Marc kicked off his performance with a medley of I Need to Know, Tu Amor Me Hace Bien and Vivir Mi Vida before he was joined by Jennifer for a duet of Olvidame y Pega la Vuelta, a classic Pimpinela song, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Following their performance, Jennifer presented Marc with the coveted award, in which she told the crowd, "Marc is a living legend... He is a magical and pure artist giving away classics that will stay forever. He will always be many things in my life."
She handed the trophy over to him on the stage and there was an awkward moment when they both seemed to lean in for a kiss but hesitated, Jennifer laughed and then they decided to just give each other a quick kiss on the lips to the cheers of the audience.
The former couple, who share six-year-old twins Max and Emme, are currently working together on her Spanish-language album, which Marc will executive produce.
Their divorce was finalized in 2014 and Marc married model Shannon de Lima later that year.
