Jennifer Lawrence was reportedly "ill and vomiting" before the premiere of her new movie Joy on Sunday evening (13Dec15).
The actress didn't show any signs of feeling under the weather as she graced the red carpet in New York in a stunning floor-length white gown, but it seems just hours beforehand she was less than camera ready. According to the New York Post, Jennifer had to cancel several interviews during the day on Sunday (13Dec15) because she felt so ill, though managed to get herself together in time for the premiere.
"She was ill and vomiting," a source told the newspaper.
While she still felt a bit poorly at the glitzy evening event, a source close to Jennifer said the star was "feeling much better" by Monday (14Dec15).
This isn't the first time the 25-year-old has had to put on a brave face to mask ill health. Jennifer was hospitalised before the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in 2013 after complaining of cramps and stomach pain.
While Jennifer may be feeling a little tender at the moment, one thing sure to boost her spirits is singer Adele. The Oscar-winning actress went to watch the British singer perform live at Radio City Music Hall in November (15), and the experience certainly left a lasting impression. Jennifer is such a fan that she has compared the hit-maker to a Christmas dinner staple.
"Oh my god! Stop, I'm going to cry," she told Z100's Garrett. "I'm going to tear up just talking about it. My mouth is watering.
"Adele is the most universally accepted as the best. I've never seen anything like it in my entire life. I was at a restaurant and was like, 'these Brussels sprouts taste as good as Adele sings,' and (the waiter) was like 'Well thank you.'"
