Jennifer Lawrence is refusing to apologize for dancing on a stripper pole during a friend's birthday celebration last month (Apr17), insisting she had a "blast".
The Hunger Games star hit headlines on Wednesday (17May17) when a video of the actress dancing on a stripper pole at the Beverly Hills Club in Vienna, Austria was posted online.
In the footage, the actress appears to be wearing just a bra, but she is now insisting it was a regular top - and she has no regrets about her sexy moves.
"Look, nobody wants to be reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet," she writes on Facebook. "It was one of my best friend's birthdays and I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun. I'm not going to apologize, I had a BLAST that night.
"P.S. that's not a bra it's an Alexander Wang top and I'm not gonna lie, I think my dancings (sic) pretty good. Even with no core strength."
It's not the first time the 26-year-old has had to face leaks of her personal photos and videos on the Internet - in 2014, she was among dozens of famous women targeted by hackers who accessed cloud storage accounts and stole hundreds of private, intimate pictures, which were later published online.
"Just because I'm a public figure, just because I'm an actress, does not mean that I asked for this," she told Vanity Fair magazine in 2014 in reaction to the leaked material. "It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It's my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting.
"It is a sexual violation. It's disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change."
