A woman who clashed with Straight Outta Compton star Jason Mitchell is threatening legal action after he allegedly assaulted her during a night out in Boston, Massachusetts.
The 29-year-old actor, who portrayed late N.W.A. rapper Eazy-E in the 2015 biopic, reportedly grabbed 18-year-old Emily Marquez and threw her to the ground at The Ritz hotel on Monday (01Aug16), according to a police report filed by the alleged victim.
Cops are still investigating the incident, which landed Mitchell a ban from the posh hotel, and now Marquez is sharing her side of the story.
In an interview with TMZ.com, the teen claims the encounter turned physical when Mitchell attempted to kiss her neck, prompting Marquez to slap the actor. She believes he lost his temper because she snubbed his advances in front of his pals.
"He tried kissing on my neck... I was like, 'Ugh, get away' and I feel like he got mad 'cause all his boys were there...," she said.
"He grabbed my wrist really hard... so I got scared...," she continued. "I smacked him and I was like, 'Don't touch me' and... I was walking away, with my back towards him and he grabbed my hair and dragged me down towards the floor..."
Marquez reveals she was briefly hospitalized with a sprained neck as a result of the alleged assault, and now she is exploring her legal options.
She said, "I'm definitely getting a lawyer. I want the truth to be out..."
A representative for Mitchell has yet to respond to Marquez's comments, but sources previously insisted the woman initiated the fight after she tried to crash his party, reports TMZ.
