Amanda Bynes has ended 2012 with a little good news after a year of bizarre behavior and driving offenses - two hit-and-run charges against her have been dropped.
Her lawyer, Richard Hutton, has reached an agreement to settle with the victims in her two hit-and-run cases, and those charges were dismissed in court on Wednesday (12Dec12).
The Hairspray star is still facing counts of DUI and driving with a suspended license.
Amanda Bynes' problems began in April (12) when she allegedly smashed into a police car in Los Angeles. In August (12), she was behind the wheel of a rental car when she was rear-ended in a crash and fled the scene. The other motorist involved blamed Bynes’ recklessness for the accident.
