Singer/actress Hilary Duff has been forced to axe her appearance at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade one day before the holiday.

The So Yesterday hitmaker was slated to perform one of her new songs during the New York City event on Thursday morning (27Nov14), but scheduling conflicts have prompted her to cancel.

Duff took to Twitter.com and wrote, "I thought I was free for the Thanksgiving Parade but turns out with filming the TV show and mom duty my schedule just doesn't work! I'm so sorry and am wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!!"

Duff, who is currently filming new TV series Younger in the Big Apple, was slated perform alongside KISS, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Sting, Idina Menzel, Lucy Hale and the Madden Brothers, among others.
