Pop star Harry Styles hit pause on One Direction's 2016 hiatus recently to make a terminally ill fan's day.
The singer agreed to record a video message for four-year-old Jessica Whelan from Lancashire, England, who is fighting for her life as she battles neuroblastoma, a rare type of cancer.
Harry heard about Jessica's plight and her dying wish to meet him and when he couldn't make that happen, he called her dad and offered to record a Facebook message for the little girl.
Whelan's father took to Facebook shortly after speaking with Harry, who was calling from the U.S. and wrote: ''Well that was a surreal telephone call..."
"He wants to do a FaceTime or video recording for Jessica! The way she is at the moment I have told him that she would benefit more from a recording which he has said he will do for her and email to us!"
Harry is currently on a break from his boy band and working on solo material and an acting career.
