Michael Buble has serious pop power on his new album thanks to a track co-written by Harry Styles and Meghan Trainor.
The Canadian singer has co-written every original song he's ever recorded, but that streak ends with the release of his forthcoming ninth studio album, Nobody But Me.
Michael revealed to ET Canada that the One Direction star and pop princess Meghan penned a song called Someday together, and after hearing the demo, he knew he couldn't let the song go to any other artist.
He explains, "I know that sounds mind-blowing to people, but they’re talented; they wrote a song that I fell in love with, and that was it. I was going to set my ego aside and I was going to do what’s best for the record."
Michael went on to praise Meghan, who is also a featured vocalist on the track, for her songwriting and producing skills.
"She’s probably the most talented 21-year-old in the world," Michael gushed. "She’s a great singer and entertainer. What they may not know is what an incredible writer she is, what an incredible musician she is, the fact that she’s a bada** producer."
Someday is one of three original songs on Michael's new album, which is predominantly comprised of covers and set for release on 21 October (16).
