Gwen Stefani has confessed she had no idea who her new boyfriend Blake Shelton was before joining the country singer on show The Voice.
The No Doubt frontwoman joined the panel of mentors for the talent competition's seventh season last year (14), sitting alongside her producer pal Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake.
She returned for season nine, which premiered in September (15), just weeks after announcing her divorce from her husband of 13 years, Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale.
Gwen has since struck up a romance with Blake and she is enjoying learning all about him - because she wasn't even aware of his existence before they worked together.
"I didn't even know who he was before I was on the show," she laughs to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. "Before I was on The Voice I'd never heard of him before... I'm an O.C. (Orange County, California) girl! Like, what would I know?"
The star is particularly impressed with his encyclopedic music knowledge.
"He knows every single '80s song," she gushes. "He literally is a musical jukebox. He knows everything about music, it's crazy."
"I'm in a good place, I'm having a lot of fun," she continues. "It's like a whole new life, a whole new chapter. It's been so great to be on The Voice and be around all that music."
However, Gwen isn't about to kiss and tell about her budding relationship with Blake.
When asked by Ellen if he is a "good kisser", the shocked singer laughs and dodges the question, saying, "Wow, you're so awesome!"
The interview aired in the on Friday (20Nov15).
The 46-year-old mother-of-three went public with her new romance earlier this month (Nov15), when she joined her new man at an afterparty following the CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. They have even recorded a country duet together, inspired by Gwen's painful marriage split.
Blake is rebounding from his own heartache after divorcing fellow country star Miranda Lambert in July (15) after four years as husband and wife.
