Pop star Gwen Stefani is embracing equestrianism after she was gifted a horse named Halo.
The No Doubt star took to Instagram.com to show off snaps of her new ride, writing in a caption, "My new bunny #bestpresentever hi Halo."
One of the images shows the horse wearing a fringed saddle, and Gwen wrote, "Look at my fancy fringe!! #cantbelivemylife Gx #Halo (sic)."
Reports suggest the horse is a gift from Gwen's boyfriend Blake Shelton, who owns a ranch in Oklahoma and keeps a variety of livestock there.
He also gifted several horses to Miranda Lambert during their marriage, and she reportedly kept the animals as part of the former couple's divorce settlement.
Mother-of-three Gwen went public with her new romance in November (15), when she joined her new man at an afterparty following the CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. They have even recorded a country duet together, inspired by Gwen's painful marriage split.
Blake is rebounding from his own heartache after divorcing fellow country star Miranda in July (15) following four years as husband and wife.
Gwen announced her divorce from her husband of 13 years, Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale, in August (15), and she recently admitted the last few years of their marriage were hard as her partner was rarely at home.
"I didn't tour at all, but I did record the No Doubt album, which was super hard," she explained. "I was torn the whole time. Every day I would take the kids to school, drive to Santa Monica (in California), work on the album, and then I'd think, 'Oh my God, if I don't leave by 2.30, I'm not gonna get home in time for dinner'. And Gavin being on tour... It was a lot of knocking my head against the wall. A lot of struggle."
