Goldie Hawn had no issues with her daughter Kate Hudson's brief romance with Nick Jonas, despite their 13-year age gap.
Actress Kate was linked to the former Jonas Brothers star for several months after they were first spotted together in September, 2015, but they repeatedly brushed off claims they were lovers, with Nick only admitting they shared "a beautiful connection".
Kate, who turned 38 last month (Apr17), has since moved on, but her mother Goldie appears to have confirmed their relationship was more than friendly after she was quizzed about the pairing during an appearance on the Watch What Happens Live talk show on Thursday night (11May17).
After a viewer called in and asked for her initial thoughts on the unlikely couple, Goldie seemingly addressed their age gap and replied, "Let me tell you something: as long as the kids are having fun, I don't care."
"He's a very nice guy; he's a good person," she added of the 24-year-old pop star.
Host Andy Cohen then wondered if the Private Benjamin icon ever had the chance to make dinner for Nick during his fling with her daughter, to which she smiled and said, "No, but I would have if it lasted long enough!"
Kate has yet to comment on her mother's revealing remarks, which came just a day after the Almost Famous beauty made her new romance with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa official by walking the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Goldie's new movie Snatched with him.
Meanwhile, Nick has always had nothing but good things to say about the mother of two.
"Kate is amazing, she is a great person," he gushed to The Sun newspaper last year (16), while insisting he was single. "You spend five minutes with her and understand who she is and what she's about... She has a beautiful spirit. She is lovely."
