Gloriana singer Rachel Reinert has announced her departure from the band.
The country trio is now a duo, after Reinert to took Twitter.com on Thursday (07Jan16) to share the news with her fans.
"It is with much thought, consideration, and prayer that I have chosen to part ways with Gloriana," she wrote. "It has been such an incredible ride and I have so many beautiful memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. I have gotten to see the world and meet so many wonderful people along the way. I am extremely grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey for the last 8 years - from the bottom of my heart, I thank you."
"This was not an easy decision, nor one that I took lightly," Reinert added, "but I felt that it was time for me to move on and follow my heart. I sincerely wish Tom and Mike Gossin all the best."
Reinert revealed she is already in back in the studio as a solo artist, and is planning to spend the rest of the year writing and recording tracks for a new album.
She joined brothers Tom and Mike, and vocalist Cheyenne Kimball to form Gloriana in 2008. Kimball left the band in 2011.
