Gabrielle Union has teamed up with basketball player Lebron James to executive produce a new comedy TV series.
White Dave will center on an African-American boy who is raised in an all white neighborhood, but has to move to a predominately black area after his mother remarries. It is based on David E. Talbert's life. He will write the series and also serve as executive producer, according to Variety.
The series is currently in development, but it is unclear when it will premiere.
This isn't the first TV project for the athlete, who appeared as himself in Amy Schumer's comedy Trainwreck - he has also worked on TV series The Wall and is executive producing the upcoming Space Jam sequel.
Meanwhile, the news comes after it was announced that Union's show Being Mary Jane is ending in 2018 after four years. She is currently an executive producer on the series.
