British singer/songwriter Fka Twigs was a big winner at the Music Producers Guild Awards on Wednesday night (03Feb16), scooping two top prizes.
The star fought off competition from Mark Ronson and Royal Blood to take the U.K. Album of the Year title for LP1, and she also landed the coveted Best Single title for Pendulum.
Other winners at the ceremony, which was held at London's Grosvenor House hotel, included Charlie Andrew, best known for his work with Alt J, who took the night's top prize, Producer of the Year, which meant he also scooped the BRIT Award for Best Producer.
The two honours are linked and handed out at the same time because BRIT Awards bosses sponsor the MPG prize.
Catherine Marks took the Breakthrough Producer of the Year trophy for her work on Wolf Alice's album My Love Is Cool, and a career achievement prize was handed to Sylvia Massy, who has worked with acts including R.E.M. and Prince.
