Eva Longoria has landed an interview with Supreme Court judge Sonia Sotomayor, the first Latina appointed to the federal bench.
The former Desperate Housewives star will sit down with Sotomayor and talk about her new book, My Beloved World, and the challenges she has faced throughout her life and career.
Longoria will host the discussion with Sotomayor at a Writers Bloc event in Los Angeles on Saturday (26Jan13) and she has taken to Twitter.com to urge followers to send in questions for the icon.
In a post on her Twitter page, Longoria writes, "I will be interviewing Justice Sotomayor next weekend on Sat Jan 26th at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills! Everyone is invited!"
Longoria has been outspoken in her efforts to advance the Latino community, and has enrolled in a Chicano Studies course at California State University, Northridge.
