Eva Longoria is set to reunite with her on-screen husband Ricardo Chavira as a guest star on his upcoming comedy series Welcome To The Family.

The pair played Gabrielle and Carlos Solis for eight years on drama Desperate Housewives and Longoria was Chavira's first choice for a guest spot on his new show.

He personally reached out to his TV wife to get involved with the project, about a Caucasian and a Latino family forced together by the unplanned pregnancy of their teen kids, and she was thrilled to play his married character's ex-girlfriend, according to Deadline.com.
