Eva Longoria has a new accolade to add to her resume after picking up her master's degree on Wednesday (22May13).
The Desperate Housewives star has spent the last few years studying the experience of people with Latin heritage in the U.S. as part of her Chicano Studies course at California State University, Northridge.
And after finally completing her thesis, Eva Longoria was invited to pick up her diploma at a graduation ceremony this week (begs20May13).
Taking to her Twitter.com page, she tweeted, "Big day today!!!Very excited to graduate for my Master's degree (sic) in Chicano Studies! You're never too old or too busy to continue your education!"
Her former Desperate Housewives co-star Marcia Cross sent her well wishes, writing, "Huge congratulations on your graduation today!!!! From Canne (sic) to Cap and Gown. You are really something."
The brunette beauty jetted back to California for the commencement ceremony after walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in France earlier this week.
