Alcohol abuse has been listed as the cause of actress Elizabeth Pena's death.
The 55 year old, who starred in the films Jacob's Ladder and La Bamba, suffered from cirrhosis of the liver "due to alcohol", according to the newly-released death certificate, obtained by TMZ.com.
The report also suggests Pena suffered from acute gastrointestinal bleeding hours before her death.
She died at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last week (14Oct14).
